What should you do if a Notice to Owner (NTO) arrives for a parking ticket that you didn't know had been issued?

Modified on Tue, 29 Oct at 1:37 PM

If you know that you had been parked in the location at the time of the event and the NTO arrived within a couple of months then we would recommend that you follow this process:

i) Respond by admitting you were there at the time in question.

ii) Say that had you received the ticket you would immediately have paid it at the reduced rate and that, in fairness, the agency should allow you to pay it at the reduced rate.

iii) Wait and pay as we will reduce the amount to its original £60 for a further 14 days to allow you time to pay.
